FULL NAME: Draken Chronalis
PRONUNCIATION: Drak-in Kro-nal-ee
GENDER: Male
SPECIES: Unknown. Has many avian features, so Gregory in all his ignorance immediately declared him an Arkavious. However, his sensitivity to magic and arcane strongly contradicts this claim, as well as a demonic curse he bears. Ethanial, a bit more intellectual than his father, claims he's simply a new kind of species.
AGE: 15
RANK: Captive assassin of the king's men.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
CURRENT PHYSICAL CONDITION: Lithe and short.
WEIGHT: 75 lbs (Hollow bones, small frame)
HEIGHT: 5' 1"
IRIS COLOR: Pale yellow with slit grey pupils. Not bright, but still constrast against dark, bruised sockets.
MAIN BODY COLOR: Pallid, very sun-deprived.
SCARS?: Cuts, bruises, and scorch marks often mar the surface of his skin. His lightweight hollow bones are broken relatively (twice to three times a year) often.
OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: Blue, scar-like markings run from across his eyes down his cheeks. They're similar to runic text and intricate patterns on his chest and back. His hair would appear black at first glance, but beneath the right amount of light (good luck finding him in that, his skin's about as cold as the darkness he dwells in) its true color is a dark purple. He can keep flight for great distances on black feathered wings.
AILMENTS: Curse : The markings on his chest and back are actually a blood-deep curse dating back to ancient times, which had been transferred to an object and ultimately wound up in Draken's bloodline, passed from his mother. Through an unspoken deal with the underworld's king, permission has been granted to the royal family to use the curse to their advantage and control an important asset to their army; the gifted assassin.
His usual attire conists of loose, threadbare clothing, bloodstained cloak, and leather gear. Everything is black, or at least a weathered shade of grey close to it, for stealth in night runs. He travels lightly to maintain weight for flight, carrying only a slim hollow shortsword, dagger, a vial of poison or two, and rations. Though he vaguely touches on combat training, he's weak physically and not skilled. What he lacks in combat, he makes up for with keen sight, hearing, and speed so he can detect and escape potential dangers before they even occur. His scent is average, and he has an above-average sensitivity to touch and changing temperatures. This has its advantages and disadvantages- he can feel the arcane energy around a magic-user at a good distance, but his increased sensitivity doesn't help him in the torture chambers. This assasin depends on stealth for his kills, so a one-hit kill is critical.
Even his only useful offense in a cornered or outnumbered situation is highly unreliable. These flames appear violet in color and give very little glow; useless to illuminate dark places like standard fire. These flames rapidly freeze anything in their path. Victims would rapidly freeze solid before they could succumb to frostbite or hypothermia unless exposed indirectly, i.e. in a 'burning' building. In such case, this would be common unless the accumilating ice collasped the building first. It can't be used at all in sun-lit areas, and is weakened by light of any sort (including moonlight, starlight). It can be very easily extinguished with normal flames, in fact, a burning furnace will very much save that building. While wind would normally spell disaster during a normal house fire beckoning the growing flames to extend its reach to adjacent buildings, any sort of destruction it could do pales in comparison to what these freezing flames would do during a rain shower, or even when foolish individuals who try to extinguish the flames with water (Think about throwing water onto a grease fire). Wind won't make these flames spread, however, there are a few factors that cause them to do so- though, randomly. Size of the flames, moisture present in the air, and temperature will cause the chances of the flames to spread to greatly increase- during a storm the flames are guaranteed to spread if not extinguished immediately. The flames spread by occasionally (Rarely, if none of those factors are present) shoot jolts of lightning which spark new flames no matter where they hit, but die out quickly if what they land on isn't flammable by normal standards. The lightning increases in intensity and frequency when these factors -are- present.

MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
FEARS: Has a strong phobia of dragons, and gets a little nervous around carrion birds.
AT FIRST GLANCE: A youthful silent, deadly killer.
IN DEPTH: A youthful silent, deadly killer, though not quite as sadistic as he looks. He's very introverted, though, so it'd be rare to find out anything at all about him.

HISTORY: - Born and raised in the dangerous, hostile territory most just call the 'underworld', the dark, rocky and trecherous terrain below the surface world. With a deal between the underworld's king and prince Ethanial, he was granted access to Draken's skill through a blood-bound contract.
Draken is treated more as a pet than an accomplice by the royals and their army, but that's only to be expected when he bears so much resemblence to an Arkavious. He was devious, almost past the prince's abilty. He was the one who perfected Ethanial's plot to murder Samuel's mother; She was brutally beaten before the home was set ablaze with strategically placed arrows around and within the wreckage and not a footprint in sight- It seemed as though the archery training got overly-ambitious that day.
Ethanial believes he has the prince of the underground completely within his power, but you can't keep a demon too long on a rope leash...
