Raid!

[Ranger]

(This takes place months before, when Samuel and Moon attempt a rescue of the Arkavious prisoners)

Samuel and Moon scaled the south Castle wall, slowly making their advance into the castle. Samuel was curious as to who was in the Dungeon, since Moon and himself had escaped they hadn't had enough time to rescue anyone. Once on the balcony Moon and Samuel both morphed into cat, Moon smaller than Samuel in this form. They both traveled silently down the halls, pausing at corners so they didn't alert guards.

Ashina was on he’s cage laying on the ground looking at the ceiling, it was night an the place was totally dark, there was not windows in the jail an the guard has long ago extinguish the light on the torches in the outside corridor so the wolf man could barely see around, not like there was much to see any way, the little room were he was imprisoned lack of any kind of furniture, not even a bed or a chair, it was an empty square except for a little hole in a corner that work like a latrine.
Ashina sighed, how much time has been already since he get caught? one month?... two? he couldn’t tell, the last time he see the sun was a few days before he was brought to the dungeons , the guards had attempt to make him work by force, but since that didn’t result in a good idea they tossed him again in he’s jail, after a little skirmish where Ashina beat up 4 guards before they could take him down. An since then he just could count the days by the times they brought him some food… though he was starting to think they didn’t feed him as often as they should. “ When an how will I go out of here? “ he think tired.

Samuel and Moon soon both reached the balcony. They morphed into cat forms, so they would not be easily noticed by any guards wandering about. Samuel paused around corners, just in case their was a lonely guard. Moon followed suit until they both made it to the darkened stairwell. Urine and other smells greeted them as they descended, Samuel wondered how he and Moon had gotten used to that smell. It was something you could easily forget once back in the open.

Tired of lay on the ground Ashina sit down an decided to do some flexions, exercise was the nly thing that keep his mind of crazynes these days - one... two.. tre..- he conunt.

Samuel and Moon changed back to their humanoid forms, trying not to breathe in the horrific smell to deeply. Samuel peered into the suffocating darkness and hoped that the King hadnt starved everyone down here. He and Moon grabbed the keys to the cells from a hook on the wall, moving to unlock the cells of Arkavious. Most were male, but there were a few females and a young one or two. Samuel was soon at the cage of Ashina, he unlocked his cell and called to him "hey, time to get you and everyone else out of here" he said softly. He jerked as he heard footsteps coming down the stairs "hurry!" he muttered

Ashina was still on his exercises – twenty for, twenty five..- when he hear the door of the cell being unlock “hey, time to get you and everyone else out of here” a voice called an the door open –Twenty-se… uu?- he stopped an stand up “ a guard ? it was already day? what could he want “ he wonder "hurry!" the voice called again, Ashina take a few steps forward an darted a look outside “whatever will be better than being here, even if its about more work” he think but then get bery surprised when what he found outside wasn’t a human guard but two males Arkavious , Ashina turn he’s head around looking for the guard but the only think he saw was more prisoners Arkavius out of their cells – What the… who are you?- he ask confused scratching he’s head to the panther guy who has open his cell.

"you've still got your claws right?" Samuel said as he looked at Ashina once more "were gonna have to fight our way out" he growled, taking a knife from his belt. Samuel unfortunately did not have claws, only miss-shapen stubbs for nails. Moon was helping everyone out of their cells and telling them to prepare to fight and flee for their lives. The King's men wouldn't be merciless on escaped prisoners.

"you've still got your claws right?” that question take Ashina by surprise –hu?- he exclaimed an watched he’s hands, of course he had his claws, what kin of question was that? “were gonna have to fight our way out" the panther guy continued an finally things grounded on the wolf mid, they were escaping from that hell. Ashina raised he’s head looking at the prisoners an a smirked, it seems he’s luck was starting to change, he then drop a heavy hand on the Panther guy shoulder an nodded – Im ready- he say whit decision on he’s eyes, he was ready an eager for some action.

Samuel nodded and looked to the others just as the guards came down the stairs. Samuel growled and ran at them, slashing one man across the face before he could block with his sword. Moon was already morphed into the mottled grey wolf, he too lept into the fray, ready to defend Samuel and the others.

Ashina growled an then he too jump into the fight whit a war cry after the two Arkavious knockings down whit he’s fist a guard who tried to slash him whit a short sword an once the man was in the ground the wolf man landed over him an just punched an clawed he’s face until the guy didn’t move anymore, just then Ashina took the sort sword an launched another attack at the next guard who come into scene, he had prefer to fight on the wolf form but since he didn’t do it often, morphing take him just to much time, an hi didn’t have that time right now.

Moon and Samuel tore through the guards with ease, as did a few of the more recently imprisoned Arkavious. Soon a path was cleared, but unfortunately the path ended with Ethanial standing in the way. Samuel snarled when he saw him, he looked to the others, wanting them to step back. They weren't allowed to fight the prince, it was samuel's right to fight him

(i think we should pause it until someone plays Ethanial, i might have found someone to do it, but we'll see)

Ashina follow the group thought the pricion corridors smashing all the guard he could in the way, but then when the exit of the dungeons was in front of them the guy who has take him out stopped an so did all the group, standing in the way was a human that looks… pretty wetly “ who’s this guy?” Ashina wonder.

"so nice you could join us" Samuel muttered, referring to Ethanial. He cracked his fists, and his shoulders "how's Bree doing?" he purred, trying to anger the older man. It was obvious that the two had a history, this encounter would not end well for either party.

Moon stood back and watched, he wasnt going to entfere with this. It wasnt his fight to start or to finish, despite what the sick prince had done to both of them.

The prince stood there with his arms crossed, composure unwavering with a smug and confident look playing about his face. He wasn't alone. Behind him stood at least four members of the royal guard, a group of heavily-armored brutes and elite fighters; the best soldiers money could train and equip. They all stood back, awaiting their master's order to open fire with guilded crossbows cocked back and aimed at the group of convicts.

Ethanial raised his arm about to give the order. The elites' armored fingers audibly clicked in place onto the trigger, eager to send them to their graves. The prince squinted at Samuel. "You..." He muttered softly before carefully waving his hand dismissively at the guards to lower their weapons. Ethanial let out a laugh that was borderline hearty chuckle and maniacal snickering. "Foolishly returning to a prison you were fortunate enough to escape," He mused. "I'd expect this sort of behavior from a common street bandit if anything, but from the offspring of the woman who brought a whole new meaning to 'loose chamber maid'?"

Samuel flinched, that was a low blow. Having his mother slandered in front of him wasn't tolerable in his book, he growled loudly. Samuel's auburn hair stood up a bit as he started to loose control of his animalistic rage. "a low blow Ethan, but not as low as your body will be in the ground after tonight" Samuel hissed, throwing the insult back at the prince in a threatening manner. He took a step closer torward him "so, are we going to do this the clean, non-cheating way, or are all those men behind you going to have to leave their women as widows?" he asked, calming slightly.

He still maintained his composure since it was more than that kitten could do. "But never as low as she got in my bedchambers, " He retorted curtly. "But I agree," the prince said as he let the guilded steel grind dramatically against the sheath as he drew it, echoing eerily through the long corridor. "Enough talk and more action, just like she would have wanted..."

[Ranger]

"hmpf right then" Samuel muttered, twirling his dagger. Samuel then lunged at the cocky bastard of a prince, using his dagger as a weapon as well as his claws.

Moon stood back, just incase the guards intended any harm torwards the escapees. He watched them intently for any signs of movement.

[Draken]

The elite guards stood back, unable to do anything until orders were given or the prince was slain. They all watched the brawl nervously. Prince Ethanial timed a powerful wide arc before Samuel fell within his dagger's short attack range, then backed into a defensive position in case his swing didn't connect.

Ashina stood on he’s place watching a little nervous at the heavy armored guards behind the arrogant bastard that the panther guy were talking at , he didn’t understand what was he talking about an he didn’t care, he only care about that crossbows aiming at them, in that stretch corridor the group won’t have anywhere to run, the wolf man stared fierily at the soldiers, teats an fist tighten as they leader rise a hand about to give the order to shot, he didn’t know what to do but didn’t want he’s life to end there, he will fight an live to get out of there somehow…then instead of order to shot, the man dismiss the guards an start chatting whit the panther man.
Ashina let go he’s breath relieved for a moment as the soldiers lowered the crossbows but didn’t lower his guard, he watched them carefully as well as the two guys talking, look like they wanted a one vs. one fight, that was convenient for the moment but the wolf had not intentions to stay there just watching for too long, the only thing that make him stay aside were the soldiers blocking the way.. he stay on he’s ground for the moment watching carefully all the enemy movements an waiting for a chance to arise…

Samuel twirled to the side, receiving a scratch from Ethanial's sword across his ribs. He stepped back, away from the prince as he glanced at the trickle of blood. He glared, ripping his now ruined shirt off. His back now exposed to the prisoners, they could see he too was once here enduring Ethanial's cruelty. Samuel lunged again, stabbing at the prince. Using his quick reflexes and close range Samuel hoped to end this fight quickly, or take the prince hostage to ensure the others safety

[Draken]

Ethanial took an anticipated sidestep, though the panther Arkavious' agility was almost severely misjudged. The dagger connected with the prince's shoulder, slicing through the leather padding and grazing his flesh until it came to a stop harmlessly against the glimmering metal plate of the elite guard directly behind him. The guard gave an irritated grunt. Ethanial moved to Samuel's side, reaching for his wrist to keep him pinned while at the same time swinging at his exposed back.

[Ranger]

Samuel let go of his dagger at the impact of the shield, his arm numb from the collision of steel. He felt the grip on his wrist and knew a strike was coming, Samuel's instincts kicked in and he arched torward the prince. Barely missing the sword swipe Samuel breathed a small sigh of relief before ducking and punching the prince on the side of his knee. He hoped that Ethanial would be immobile enough for him to find his dagger

[Draken]

Ethanial took another jab at Samuel as he staggered, loosing his grip on his wrist and nearly toppling over. He backed away from the brawl- and that's when things took a turn for the worse. "FIRE! Open fire on all of them!" The prince pulled a fast one. The elites took aim and fired swiftly at the group of escapees.

[Fenrier]

At the sudden fire order Ashina throw himself to the floor tryng to pus Moon an another guy near down whit him, ducking almost by miracle the deadly arrows, then as quick as he’s reflex let him, the wolf man wake up an whit a fierily battle cry charged against the treacherous bastard that give the order to shot – GRAAAAAAAAAA!- he cried as he charged against the prince in an atempt to takle him an then push toward the guards using he’s body like a shield to open the way, the prisoners that haven’t die yet charged too after him.

( LoL Ashina is such a brute)

Samuel however didn't duck quick enough, catching a barbed arrow to the right side of his shoulder. He grunted in pain, crouching until the rest of the arrows had gone by. Samuel then tackled Ethanial while he'd been caught off guard by Ashina. He immediately ripped the barbed object of pain from his shoulder with a painful cry, holding it to the Princes throat he glared at the men who still had their crossbows trained on them. "let us pass, or he dies" Samuel snarled, hoping this threat was valid enough to get the others out.

Moon wasn't happy about being knocked to the ground, but it saved him an arrow through his skull. When he stood up, there was an arrow shaft stuck in his braided hair.
