[Ranger]

OUT OF CHARACTER

1. Do not create new accounts for every character.

2. All levels of experience are welcome here, and we will do our best to help all new roleplayers and forum users.

3. Mirror posting is also appreciated. If the person you are roleplaying with makes a post of three paragraphs, please write no less then two decent paragraphs.

4. When describing the environment, be sure it fits the location you are currently in. Don't write that your character is walking through a sandy desert while you're in a location covered by snowy plains and forests.

5. You have to be nice to people in real life, because no one likes being made fun. When you’re RP’ing, that’s another story, there you’re character, can be mean, rude, aggressive, whatever. As long as the person doesn’t take it personally (this can happen so don’t laugh)

6. DoN’t TaLk LiKe ThIs, or in all CAPS all the time, or in chat-speak: Lol, r u there?

7. Try to use the English language as correctly as possible, including punctuation, spelling too

8. Listen if one of the administrators tells you to do something.

IN CHARACTER

CHARACTERS

Character Creation

1. All users are allowed to create 5 characters

2. Users may not role-play original characters from any published documents

Appearance & Design

1. NO aliens

2. NO super-sized creatures

3. NO Extinct species

4. All eye colors are allowed - including the vibrant ones and multicolor. Pupils must be present and can not glow. For eyes that are blind, the white film may be present over the entire eye.

5. All fur colors may be used as long as they are natural/neutral tones of that color. For example, a purple would appear to be more like a grey then vibrant purple. No neon colors will be allowed. (chimeras are accepted)

6. Any kind of creative pelt design is allowed, including stripes, spots and unnatural markings.

7. Paws, noses, scars, the inside of the ears, claws, tongues etc. must also be natural colors. (unless its a chimera)

Behavior

1. NO god-moding - it means that you can NOT decide about ANY action or state of other player's characters. You can attempt to bite one's ear but you can NOT state that you've bitten it. You also can NOT state that your opponent is too tired to get up after a fight - the roleplayer decides about it, not you!

2. NO power-gaming - it means that you can NOT take any unrealistic actions.

3. NO meta-playing - it means that your character can NOT know what the other character is thinking (even if the thoughts are posted) or know about another character's death 2 seconds after it happens if your character is in a different place. You also can NOT predict other character's actions!

4. Be aware of the creature you roleplay! Wolves don't have opposite thumbs to work with, so making even the most simple tools is impossible for them. A polecat has a small maw and won't be able to bite off a leg of another animal with a single bite.

Breeding

1. Please, don't mate if your character is underage.

2. Mating can occur year-round, though breeding in winter raises the chances of a birth success (it's not the same in nature, but it makes things easier for the role-play).

3. If you decide to roleplay a mating scene, Let an admin know. We will change the "rating" in the title of the topic so underage members have been warned.

4. If you have successfully bred, please contact Ranger for further instructions. They will decide not only whether your character is pregnant but also about other details.

5. Females can never be sure about their pregnancy until its obvious, the female's belly is showing how pregnant she is. The chances of getting pregnant are never lower than 50%

6. It is important who the father is. If we deal with incest (it happens in the nature) then there is a high probability of birth defects.

7. You also can't be sure about the size of the litter.

8. Also, the gender of the pups will be random. We won't decide the cub's genders unless you are able to find role-players who will create characters to roleplay as your cubs.

9. When contacting us, please give us as much information as possible and a link to the thread in which the mating occurred!

Sparring
Once more - NO god-moding, NO meta-playing, NO power-gaming, NO auto-hitting/auto-killing!

1. Do not edit your posts in a fight unless it's only to correct grammar and spelling. If we see you doing that, you will automatically lose the fight!

2. Always reply in an order and don't double post.

3. You must respond to attacks directed towards you. If you do not reply saying your opponents attack hit, was dodged, countered etc., they have the right to say it hit.

4. You must take damage for every attack! Only way to keep from getting damage is to counter or dodge the attack.

5. Together with your opponent, you have to decide when the spar ends. Does it end with the death of one of you? Or when one of you pleads for mercy? Or maybe when one of you is pinned to the ground? ( In OCC perhaps?)

6. If someone you are sparring with breaks the rules or makes it hard for you to reply, contact any RP-Moderator.
